Release Highlights

SMS: Double Opt-In

We’ve introduced Double Opt-In at the message type level for SMS. When a message type is set to Double Opt-In, new subscribers who sign up via an Omeda form receive a confirmation request.

Only those who confirm with a response of “YES” are fully opted in, ensuring a more engaged audience, improved compliance, and higher-quality leads. This enhancement streamlines your opt-in process and helps maintain a reliable subscriber base for each message type.

Other affirmative responses to the opt-in request such as “Confirm”, “Y”, & “Opt-In” will also work.

Other Updates

Data Loader: Map a Single Header to Multiple Omeda Fields

Users can now map a single incoming field from a file or in a template to multiple Omeda fields by using the new Duplicate header option. This will allow users to store an incoming value in multiple places.

This Duplicate header option is available in the General Mapping, Demographic, Deployment Type, Message Type, and Product Class Mapping steps.

Form Builder: Form Context Now Included in Form Error Log Details

Most errors found in Form Builder's Error Log will now include the Form Context so users know exactly where errors are coming from.

Email Builder: New UX Enhancements

We've introduced several improvements to the Email Builder UI to enhance usability. These updates include widening the dropdown for the Internal List field to display more of the list name and expanding the width of the Retrieve Content modal, allowing users to view more of the URL used to fetch email content.

Odyssey: Updated Personalization UI

The Personalization element in Odyssey has been updated to navigate to the new Personalization UI, replacing the previously embedded version. This change ensures a consistent and seamless experience when creating Personalizations across the platform.

API: Updated the Add Deployment Audience API to Split Audiences Evenly

To support A/B testing use cases for deployments built via API, we've updated the deployment/audience/add/ api so an audience query can optionally be split evenly across all splits in a deployment.

Paid: Gift Batch Mode for Credit Card Orders

We’ve introduced a new feature in Audience Search called Gift Mode. This allows you to add as many gifts as needed for a donor when using a credit card and have it charge as one sub-total. With Gift Mode, you can now create and submit a single order with one total, no longer limited by the number of gifts you can enter each day.

Audience Search: Added Postal ID to Invoice / Receipt

We added the Postal ID to receipts generated in Audience Search, to maintain data consistency, as it was already included in all invoice and renewal workflows up until now.

Global Navigation: Classic UIs for Email Builder, Data Loader, and Odyssey are no longer available

The new UI for Email Builder, Data Loader, and Odyssey will now be the default view accessible from the navigation menu, regardless of a user's toggle setting for "Try the New UI." All users will directly access the enhanced, updated interfaces for these tools without needing to manually enable the new UI toggle. Users will still have control over the toggle to access the classic versions of other applications.

Promo Codes: Reorder Campaign Rates on Forms

Users can now specify what order they prefer payment rates from Campaign Tool to display on their forms.
