Using iFrames or Javascript to embed your Omeda Webforms

Omeda Form Builder forms can be embedded into your existing Website to work seamlessly with your Navigation, footer and other Site elements without having to replicate and keeping them update on the Form.

In the below example, the form elements are embedded in the Omeda Website’s content area via an iframe:

In the source code view, you can see the iframe code that is embedded in the site content:

Retrieving the iFrame or Javascript (JS) Embed Code in Form Builder

Once a form has been created and published, on the form dashboard, you will find an Embed Code option in the form’s action menu.

Users can click the Embed Code and the JavaScript and iFrame code are displayed.  You can copy the code to your clipboard and insert into your CMS or Website where needed.

This will allow users to embed or iframe an Omeda Form Builder form within their own website. Users can also use the iframe code to embed an Omeda Webform within a Personalization.

Your Omeda Client Success Manager can assist with providing the URL for any Form Builder form if you have not received it previously. You may request a URL through the Form Builder >> Form Builder – Other option in your Support Portal.

Here is an example of how the iframe can look like for an Omeda form URL:

iFrame Example

<iframe src=”https://omeda.dragonforms.com/init.do?omedasite=testform” style=”height:400px;width:600px;” title=”Iframe Example”></iframe>

Embedding the iframe or Javascript on your Website

If you are embedding the iframe in your CMS (e.g. WordPress or Drupal) or Website, the iframe or Javascript code needs to be added in the Code view, see example below from a WordPress Editor. Please consult with your CMS documentation or Website admin for assistance.

Summary:

CredSpark is an engagement platform where you can create quizzes, surveys and polls. CredSpark has recently updated their platform so you can now use Omeda’s Form Listener and Data Loader tools to capture form transactions directly to your Omeda database.

Data Loader

CredSpark also integrates with Omeda’s Data Loader tool. You can drop your CredSpark file to an FTP/SFTP site location, either Omeda’s or a third-party. From that site location, you can then input the file into Data Loader and upload that information into your Omeda database.

Clickherefor instructions on how to use Data Loader to load data from an FTP or SFTP site into your Omeda database.

Form Listener

Setup:

To being the setup, contact support@credspark.com to update your CredSpark account with Omeda CDP code. You will only need to provide the OID Connection Key. If you have access to Olytics,  you can find it here or from Omeda Portal (Menu >> Integrations >> Olytics)

Creating Surveys/Quizzes:

Once the CredSpark setup is completed, you can begin creating forms in CredSpark.  After you have published your form, under the [Edit/Publish] tab there will be a data table (see screen shot below) that provides the necessary information to complete the Form Listener setup in Omeda.

In the data table:

  • Form URL used to indicate the URL the form is on.

  • Demographic dictionary (Question, Question ID, Response value, Response ID, Type).  The CredSpark transactions return IDs – the data table translates the IDs to descriptions.

Reminders

  • Form Listener only works on single page forms so make sure you select single page when creating your form.

  • Your form will need at minimum an email address in order  create a new customer or to match to an existing customer.

  • Omeda CDP JavaScript code is automatically added to all surveys/quizzes (both past and present). You will not need to change anything on the site the form is hosted on.
